Michael Jackson/ United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarship

Michael Jackson's estate has partnered with the UNCF to fund a scholarship program that offers financial support to students who are pursuing degrees in social science and communication arts. The students must be enrolled to a UNCF college or university for the upcoming academic year.

Candidates must have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale system. The scholarship will present an award depending on the student's financial need as confirmed by the attending University or College.

A completed application package must include:

* A completed application profile

* An essay (prompt and instructions located within the appropriate section of the application)

* An (official or unofficial) Transcript

All application materials must be submitted by the deadline for full consideration. Previous recipients of this award must re-apply for reconsideration.

This scholarship award is usually $5,000, and the deadline is usually in NOVEMBER.
